Inspiration, Consultation & Design

Working with your vision, our Customhaus architectural team will guide you through the entire design planning process. Our designers will get to know you personally. Using reference books, photographs, and our “Customhaus Lifestyle Profile & Planning Guide”, they will collaborate with you to design a home that suits your family’s lifestyle needs.

The ‘Build-Out’ Process

At Customhaus™ we take responsibility, recruiting and engaging only the very best custom builders in each region.

Each project is specifically assigned to the builder best-suited, with the full support of the production crew that crafted the structural and component system. Our highly experienced project supervisors are always on hand to assist  whenever their expertise and knowledge is required. Our clients are assured of the care and attention needed to undertake the fulfillment of their custom “dream” home, cabin or cottage!

Assuring Permits

From land surveys to environmental issues, engineering to building permit applications, and so much more; the initial stages of building a home can be overwhelming. Customhaus™ assures that this process is well-in-hand, liaising with various local planning departments and other regulatory bodies to obtain all the necessary approvals, in addition to working with service providers as required.

Building to Completion

With plans and permits in place, Customhaus™ will embark upon the process of seeing that the project is built, on time and within budget. While weighing important decisions of preferred choice against budgetary constraints, any “change order” requirements will be dealt with promptly and efficiently. Customhaus™ manages the entire project - from “stump to stoop” and beyond. This ensures that the choice of heavy timber product is properly integrated with a pre-cut framing material package or a proprietary panel product. All the necessary building components are properly prepared, labeled, and packaged for shipment, whether it is delivered across the street or across the continent, even overseas. Local teams of designers and builders are engaged, licensed or accredited on the basis of their experience and reputation. Customhaus™ clients are protected from the under-skilled or disreputable. Designers and builders are accountable to us, we are accountable to you, everything that needs to be done will be done. It is just that simple - bringing your home to completion as quickly as possible, ready for final building-occupancy inspection.

After Build Support

Once your new Customhaus™ home is complete, we offer ongoing building maintenance. Buildings, like automobiles, need attention, and complex home systems need their own special kind of care. Our after-market service specialists are available, either for regularly scheduled maintenance and adjustments, or for do-it-yourself advice.
